Now that we’re heading into a new year, it’s the perfect time to work on any New Year’s resolutions for your home.  You know, projects that may need to be done.  Or any fun things you want to do.

Obviously doing any maintenance on your house would take priority.  Especially if you weren’t able to get it done before the holidays.  Jobs like raking leaves, cleaning the gutters, sealing the windows and doors, etc.

New Year’s Resolutions for Your Home

At our house it seems we constantly have a running list of things that need to be done.  However if we don’t do maintenance, homes quickly fall into disrepair.  But there are definitely some fun things I hope to accomplish this year as well.  We’ve already done a lot on our house since moving in 7 years ago, though I’d love to finish the kitchen:  cabinets, countertops, and a new sink.  That’s my top priority.  And the second one is to paint the hall bathroom.  But if we get the option to do anything else, it would be to tile the bathroom floor in our bedroom.

I know we’ll be able to finish our back patio project, because we’ve been working on it in increments.  So there’s not much lacking.  Attaching a canvas from the poles to the house would be the most economical way to finish it out.  However, Paul wants to totally enclose it.  Thus, we’re not exactly agreed upon it as yet.
